Dear Valencia California Stake,

We invite you to serve in the Los Angeles California Temple during the upcoming maintenance closure that is scheduled to last between February 24th to March 10th.

Your stake has been assigned to help on the following day: February 26th, 2025

Your stake is invited to provide 10 members to help with different cleaning tasks inside the temple. Every member that shows up to serve plays a vital role in helping ensure we have a successful maintenance closure.

The following are a few common questions and answers. You will also find attached to this email a document you can provide to members that specifies requirements for serving during the closure.

How long will the service last?

The assignments begin at 6am and end at 1pm.

Are members required to serve all 7 hours?

Members are not required to serve the full 7 hours. Any time they can give during 6am to 1pm is greatly appreciated, including serving on a day assigned to another stake.

Where do members report to when they arrive?

Members will be reporting at the baptismal entrance located on the west side of the temple. The recommend desk will be staffed for the full time of service hours where they will be greeted and assigned tasks.

Do members need to be endowed to serve?

All volunteers must be endowed adults to serve during this maintenance closure.

Do members need to bring their own food?

Yes, the temple does not provide food or snacks.
