Peachland Post for Aug 18
In memory of our God, our religion, and freedom, and our peace, our wives, and our children—and he fastened it upon the end of a pole. And therefore, at this time, Moroni prayed that the cause of the Christians, and the freedom of the land might be favored. Alma 46:12,16

Electronic Temple Recommend
A new Electronic Temple Recommend is being piloted in Southern California! This means you’ll be able to scan your recommend from the LDS Tools app on your phone at the temple–instead of using a paper recommend. This must be activated by the bishopric first. To activate, please follow the steps below.
1. Contact Norris Whitmore or Andrew Fischer (text please) and ask for your recommend format to be changed to the mobile format.
3. Go into Tools and either sync/refresh the data on the app or remove and reinstall the app (some have worked one way and some have worked the other).
3. Then “Agree” to activate the recommend on their app, after which the recommend will be active on their phone. The paper recommend will no longer work once the electronic recommend is activated.
