Help Needed: Temple Cleaning

Aug 13, Tuesday, 6 am - 1 pm at the Baptismal Entry (West Door)

Any time you can come during these hours will be welcome! No need to sign up: just come. Please wear work clothing and comfortable shoes. Adults or Young Adults only (no youth, please). Endowed members please.

Dear Valencia Stake,

Our temple shutdown scheduled for August 12 to 26 is fast approaching.   The Valencia Stake is invited to help Tuesday, August 13.

We're inviting 10 endowed members from your stake to help clean and polish the House of the Lord.   The custodians appreciate and need this additional help.  Instructions for our shutdown are attached.  Please share this with your members that would like to serve.

      

The temple apartments won't be available as they will be receiving their own deep cleaning at this same time.

We won't have any projects to help with outside the temple, that is why all who come must be endowed.  

Security is always at the baptistry entrance during shutdown so if anyone arrives after 6am there will be someone to greet them and help them join a group that is here already cleaning.   If someone says they can only serve a few hours, not until 1pm, please encourage them to come to the temple.  Any amount of service is needed during our shutdown.
