Passing of Gary Carter

With sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of Gary Carter. Our prayers are with Gary’s family and friends. Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, January 24, at 11 am in the Relief Society Room of the Peachland Building.

Come Follow Me Scripture Study with the Missionaries 

Weekly, Weds, 7 pm at Peachland

With the new year and new course of study at church, the scripture study on Wednesdays will shift to the Book of Mormon.

Peachland Ward Choir

Regular rehearsal on Jan 14 and Jan 21, 12:30-1:30 in the Peachland RS Room. Please read the following link for more updates on the Ward Conference musical number. Ward conference is combined with the Spanish branch, information I did not connect in my brain previously but clarified this past week. So, we will change the song we present for ward conference and invite the branch to join us.

Together, we will present "The Lord is My Light," hymns, no. 89 (Jesús es mi luz, himnos, no. 42). All notes are from the hymnal and we will alternate Spanish-English verses, as follows:

1: Spanish, melody only, no chorus this verse

2: Words for v. 3, English, melody only, including the chorus

3. Words for v. 4, Spanish melody, others hum the harmonies

4. Words for v. 4 again, English melody, others hum the harmonies

Peachland Building Cleaning Assignments

Cleaning assignments for all of 2024 are posted at this link. There have been a few minor adjustments.

Contact Napoleon Cailipan or Andrew Woodhead for more information. Cleaning now has two start times! Early start at 6 am, normal start at 7 am. Building Reps do toilets, tile floor, and trash. Families vacuum carpet and clean the glass doors.
